Yet through His Word, we receive ears to hear and eyes to see the love that God has lavished on us through His Son Jesus Christ. So, we strive to bring them to the Savior to open their eyes and ears. Real obedience to God begins in the heart. Evil and wickedness don’t start from outside of us, they begin in our own heart. So often we grumble at our Lord when it seems like He's not giving us what we hunger for; but the Father puts an end to our grumbling and our hunger when He draws us to Jesus Christ in faith.
