2/5/23 - 5th Sun. after Epiphany

Who am I? Why am I here? The answers to these questions shape our lives here on earth. Jesus answers these questions with two fascinating metaphors. Called by God's grace, we are "the salt of the earth" and "the light of the world." Our live reflect our gracious calling in Christ so that we can be blessings to all. Pastor's sermon, "Be Who You Are in Christ" is based on Matthew 5:13-16.

1/29/23 - 4th Sun. after Epiphany

Instead of boasting in ourselves, which leads to further division among God's people, God's Word encourages us to boast in the Lord and in His grace which He has poured out on us in Jesus Christ. Pastor's sermon, "United We Stand--Boasting in the Lord's Grace," is based on 1 Corinthians 1:26-31.

1/22/23 - 3rd Sun. after Epiphany

Jesus appears—as the Light of the world. In the dark places covered by the shadows of sin and unbelief the light of Jesus shines! His light shines forth in the preaching of repentance and in the good news of His kingdom. He invites us to follow Him with our lives illumined by Him, living in the joy of freedom and the unity we enjoy in His name. Pastor's sermon, "United We Stand--In the Name of Jesus Christ" is based on 1 Corinthians 1:10-17.

1/15/23 - 2nd Sun. after Epiphany

We give thanks that as our Lord Jesus gathers each of us up as His followers, we find unity in the grace that God has shown us through His Son--unity in that God has written us together into the story of His grace in Christ. Pastor's sermon, "United We Stand--By God's Grace in Christ" is based on 1 Corinthians 1:1-9.

1/8/23 - Baptism of Our Lord

For centuries people had waited for the One who would save us all from the darkness of sin and from the clutches of Satan. In Jesus the wait is over! At His baptism Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit and declared by the Father to be the true Son of God and the promised Savior. Pastor's sermon, "Jesus Appears as Our Anointed Hero" is based on Matthew 3:13-17. God bless your worship!

12/31/22 - New Year's Eve

As we mark the end of one year and the beginning of another, we take to heart the instruction of the Word of God to remember our Creator--not just when we're old--but throughout our entire lives. For He also remembers us in our time of need! Pastor's sermon, "Remember Your Creator in the Days of Your Youth" is based on Ecclesiastes 12:1-7.

1/1/23 - The Epiphany of our Lord (obs.)

At the Epiphany of our Lord, we continue to celebrate the birth of the Savior of the Nations. We give thanks that at the dawning of His Son's glory, God chose to reveal His saving light to all people--Jew and Gentile alike. Pastor's sermon, "A Savior Is Born for All the Nationsr" is based on Matthew 2:1-12.
