1/15/23 - 2nd Sun. after Epiphany

We give thanks that as our Lord Jesus gathers each of us up as His followers, we find unity in the grace that God has shown us through His Son--unity in that God has written us together into the story of His grace in Christ. Pastor's sermon, "United We Stand--By God's Grace in Christ" is based on 1 Corinthians 1:1-9.

1/8/23 - Baptism of Our Lord

For centuries people had waited for the One who would save us all from the darkness of sin and from the clutches of Satan. In Jesus the wait is over! At His baptism Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit and declared by the Father to be the true Son of God and the promised Savior. Pastor's sermon, "Jesus Appears as Our Anointed Hero" is based on Matthew 3:13-17. God bless your worship!

12/31/22 - New Year's Eve

As we mark the end of one year and the beginning of another, we take to heart the instruction of the Word of God to remember our Creator--not just when we're old--but throughout our entire lives. For He also remembers us in our time of need! Pastor's sermon, "Remember Your Creator in the Days of Your Youth" is based on Ecclesiastes 12:1-7.

1/1/23 - The Epiphany of our Lord (obs.)

At the Epiphany of our Lord, we continue to celebrate the birth of the Savior of the Nations. We give thanks that at the dawning of His Son's glory, God chose to reveal His saving light to all people--Jew and Gentile alike. Pastor's sermon, "A Savior Is Born for All the Nationsr" is based on Matthew 2:1-12.

12/25/22 - Christmas Day

A Savior is born to dwell among us! Christmas Day is the festival of the Incarnation: the eternal Son of God was born in time as the Son of Mary so that in His flesh He might free us from the bondage of sin. We rejoice that, because God sent His only-begotten Son Jesus Christ, through faith in Him we are now God's children and heirs of life everlasting. Pastor's sermon, "Jesus: The Son of Man and Son of God" is based on John 1:1-14.

12/18/22 - Fourth Sunday in Advent

God will save His people, just as He promised! The promise of Immanuel--"God-with-us"--is fulfilled in the virgin birth of the Son of David who is also the Son of God. Receive God's promised grace and peace with a faith that trusts in Him, even amid the uncertainties of this world. Pastor's sermon, "God's Kingdom Comes Through the Child Immanuel," is based on Isaiah 7:10-14.

12/11/22 - Third Sunday in Advent

Christ's coming drives the darkness from our hearts and causes us to rejoice as we anticipate the fullness of our salvation in Him. Pastor's sermon, "Isaiah's Gospel Promises: God's Coming Kingdom Brings Great Joy" is based on Isaiah 35:1-10. God bless your worship!
