11/27/22 - First Sunday in Advent

We keep watch for the unexpected coming of Christ--unexpected in that we don't know the day or hour of His coming. Yet that day will most certainly come! And with His coming we find peace for all nations! So, we want to keep watch and be ready, walking in the light of the LORD. Pastor's sermon, "God's Kingdom Is Coming" is based on Isaiah 2:1-5.

11/20/22 - Christ The King Sunday

In a world where God's people are scattered by rulers who care more about preserving their own power than doing what is right, we can put our trust in this sure promise: we will live with Christ in His kingdom, rejoicing in His righteousness, and resting in His eternal peace. Pastor Van Kampen's sermon, "The Lord's Shepherding Love Will Prevail," is based on Jeremiah 23:1-6.

11/13/22 - Saints Triumphant Sunday

We look forward to an eternal futre with our Lord, fulfilled in the coming of Christ. That glorious, eternal future enables us to serve the Lord in dark days, enduring all things for the sake of Christ, trusting that we are included in His promise of "something better"--a "better resurrection." Pastor's sermon, "Faith Looks Forward to Something Better" is based on Hebrews 11:32-40. God bless your worship!

11/6/22 - Last Judgment Sunday

Our risen and ascended Lord will return to “judge the quick and the dead.” But we will not fear. We will stand before the Judge of all, confident of our innocence in Jesus. As we wait for that day, we find contentment in our daily lives. Pastor Rose's sermon, "The Secret of Being Content," is based on Philippians 4:12-13.

10/30/22 - Reformation Sunday

The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings true freedom. His righteousness--received by faith--sets the soul free from slavery, free to serve God in love. We hold to Christ's teachings, understanding that having been set free in Christ, we are "free indeed." Pastor's sermon, "Christ Has Set You Free--to Be Free" is based on Galatians 5:1-6.

10/23/22 - 20th Sun. after Pentecost

In a world full of violence and injustice, we put our trust in the Lord--listening to and proclaiming the truth of His Word. For we remember that the just--those who are declared righteous in Christ--live by faith. Pastor's sermon, "The Just Will Live by Faith" is based on Habakkuk 1:1-3, 2:1-4.

10/16/22 - 19th Sun. after Pentecost

It's easy to grow so comfortable in the blessings of this life that we wind up distracting ourselves from dealing with reality until it's too late. Now is the time to repent of our complacency and seek the Lord's grace and mercy in Christ, so we can look forward to the eternal treasures of heaven. Pastor's sermon, "Complacency Kills," is based on Amos 6:1-7.
